After the nightmare of planning my own wedding, (something this fun should not be this hard!), I decided the world was in dire need of something new. We (my husband and a couple of friends), dreamed up The Knot, a site devoted to offering stylish ideas, up-to-date advice, and much-needed relief for hip and harried couples. I'm lucky to have a supremely smart and talented staff to make The Knot happen. Here's the skinny on some of them...

I was a bridesmaid nine times before I was finally a bride myself. I still daydream about my intimate destination wedding in Italy! Luckily, my job here at The Knot gives me the chance to keep reliving some of those wonderful moments by keeping the site looking pretty and easy to use. Many of my friends have gotten engaged (and joined The Knot) since I started working here. Coincidence? I don't think so.
