Your ideal wedding is simple with little personalized extras.
- Keep your color palette light, and use white, khaki or soft green as your neutral paired with your favorite color. Some ideas: mint green, blush pink and white; purple, soft green and brown; or even pale blue, white and gold.
- Texture is key to creating a warm, intimate, romantic atmosphere. Drape the ceiling with fabric, wash the walls with light, and top your tables with overlays that match your palette.
- Go for centerpieces that are low to the table to promote conversation and add a nice, lush element. And don't forget the candles -- anything from clusters of small votives to pretty candelabras will do.
- Focus on the food and drink and the table settings. Have some courses served family-style and others served tableside. If you can, splurge on tableside wine pairings with each course.
Watch Out For
We know you want your wedding to be pretty and elegant, but don't be afraid to have a little fun with your details, or you risk looking a little too flat. Add extra chandeliers to the trees if it's outdoors; order up a tall-tiered cake; or get two incredible floral displays to add interest to your space.
