Wedding Ceremony: Are Church Wedding Decorations Necessary?

Q.

The church I'm getting married in is very ornate. It really doesn't need added wedding flowers. Is it all right if I skip the wedding floral arrangements

A.

If the natural beauty of your ceremony site can stand on its own, by all means save some money and skip the extra arrangements. In fact, many couples cut back on their flower budgets by getting married around the holidays, when they can take advantage of the beautiful holiday decorations already on display in their ceremony locations. An easy and inexpensive way to add a personal touch to your site is to add simple tulle or ribbon at the end of each pew or on the last chair in each row.
