Destination Weddings: Transporting My Gown?

Q.

How do I transport my gown to my destination?

A.

Attention all brides -- whatever you do -- do not check your wedding gown! Luggage gets lost and abused and Murphy's Law says that if you check your wedding gown, both will happen. Instead, carry your gown on the plane with you and ask a flight attendant to hang it in the first-class cabin closet. The groom's wedding-wear is wearing should be hung in the same fashion.
