Destination Weddings: What Vendors Should We Bring?

Q.

We're getting married in Aruba. What vendors should we bring?

A.

Some resorts offer vendors that meet all your wedding-day needs, but there are two vendors you should bring with you regardless of where you're getting married, no questions asked -- your consultant and your photographer. Your consultant has been planning this event with you from the very beginning, and it is his/her job to make sure all the hard work pays off on your wedding day. It is also crucial that your photographer be someone you trust to meet your stylistic expectations. More importantly, the person capturing your special day on film should be someone you are comfortable with. In the event that your needs are not met, you'll have more recourse with a photographer in the U.S. than you will with one abroad.
