Kimi’s Secrets to Getting in Wedding Shape:

1. Get Sleep

“I worked out at least five times a week. If I had time, I’d fit in a sixth session, but I found that by doing it consistently five times a week, my body was constantly changing and my stamina would increase session after session. A lot of people ask me how I was able to keep up with doing it that frequently, and my answer is sleep! People underestimate how important sleep is, but while I was pushing my body to the next level, I found it was important for me to get eight to nine hours of sleep every night. Sometimes that meant going to bed at 8 or 9 p.m., but it’s worth it!”

2. Eat Whole Foods

“I tried to limit my intake of processed foods and eat five times a day. For snacks, I would make my own trail mix with raw almonds, pecans, raisins, banana chips and any other dried fruit or raw nuts that looked good to me. I would eat small snacks like the trail mix or a piece of fruit twice a day. I also used my best judgment when it came to fat intake, and as an alternate source of fat, I would drink whole milk and eat organic cheese.”

3. Overcome Your Plateau
