A lot of brides want to lose weight or tone up before their wedding day. But if you're not sure where to start, you've come to the right place for wedding weight loss plans -- we've got all of the interactive weight loss tools and wedding diet tips to help get you on track. If your goal is getting in shape for your wedding, there are five basic practices you should consider incorporating into your life now -- and don't worry, they're all doable. First, drink up! We're not talking happy hour -- we mean water, and plenty of it. Water helps the body shed toxins and keeps you from over-snacking during the day. Second, eat smaller portions. You definitely don't have to go hungry, but by eating a few small meals throughout the day, you'll eat less and still feel satisfied. The third way to start losing weight for the wedding is to fill up on fruits and vegetables. The more healthy snacks you eat, the less you'll crave more unhealthy options. Keep fruits and veggies washed and cut in your refrigerator for easy snacking. Next step on your path to getting in shape for your wedding: cut back on alcohol. The empty calories in wine, beer, and other liquors can cost you 150 calories per drink or more. Finally, figure out an exercise routine that makes sense for your lifestyle without being a huge burden. You don't have to make the gym your second home -- just keep in mind that anything that gets you up and moving counts toward your wedding weight loss plan. Walk to all of your errands, do yard work, or go dancing with friends.
