Everything You Need For Your Wedding:

wedding pampering - home pedicure

Your Nails: The At-Home Pedicure

Wearing open-toed shoes at your wedding? Plan ahead with our do-it-yourself pedicure.

Get your tootsies wedding-ready (and take a much-deserved planning break!) with a pampering pedicure. Here's how:

Remove your old polish with a cotton ball dipped in nail polish remover then rinse your feet with soapy water and dry with a soft towel.

Using clippers and a nail file, gently begin shaping your toenails.
When you're finished, fill a bowl or your bathtub with warm water and add a special foot bath product to soften skin. Immerse your feet for at least ten minutes.

Using a pumice stone and exfoliating lotion, scrub feet. Pay careful attention to calluses and rough skin.

Dry your feet with a clean towel, then apply a moisturizing foot cream and put on a pair of socks for 30 minutes to let the lotion absorb.

When a half-hour has passed, remove the socks, wipe away any excess moisture, and place cotton balls (or a rubber toe divider) between your toes to keep them separated.

Apply base coat and let it dry for a minute or two. Follow with two coats of color and topcoat. When you're through, stay off your feet for at least twenty minutes. Then you'll be all set.
