"We're having a haunted hotel theme, hopefully at the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem, Massachusetts. We're going to have a dressed-up bellboy greet our guests and help them find their seats. Instead of having table numbers, each will feature a card that includes a room number and hotel from all over the United States. Below the room number and hotel, there will be a true haunted story about the room! The seating cards will include the room number (table) they'll be seated at. Our wedding centerpieces will be all different candelabras with a few black roses. We'll have goodie bags for the children, which will include Halloween stuff to keep them busy and out of trouble. Our ceremony will also follow the theme, including a twisted ‘Wedding March,' which will sound just a bit creepy, and it will be held at night. My wedding dress is very untraditional too! And lastly our wedding favors will be sparkling cider bottles with customized labels. I can't wait!" --Mysticalbeauty

"My wedding is totally Halloween-themed. Dracula is marrying us. The bridesmaids and groomsmen are zombies. I'm even wearing a red dress. The best has to be the haunted house on a spooky hill wedding cake we're getting; the very talented Bronwen Weber is doing our wedding cake! The programs are even coffin-shaped." --Scarywedding

"We're having a Halloween wedding this year. My fiance isn't into the whole Halloween theme, so we compromised on a masquerade ball at a mansion. The colors are white, black, and plum. Our flowers will be plum calla lilies and our favors are feathered and glitter masks. I did get to have my candy bar with all my favorite Halloween candy. I also snuck in a Halloween cake topper. Our ceremony and reception are going to be two different themes. The ceremony will have a white and black palette and take place outdoors. Then, as guests walk up to the front doors, they'll be welcomed by pumpkins on the steps. The colors inside will be plum and black; the only thing white will be my dress." --Tony&vanessag

"We're getting married next year on Halloween. It's going to be more of a fall theme with hints of Halloween. We're having scarecrows guide the way to the venue instead of balloons. If it's cold, we're going to have Halloween-y coffee cups with a cider and hot chocolate table. We're giving out kiddie gifts in mini plastic pumpkins. For favors, we'll have a candy table with Skittles, jelly beans, and other candy. Then, if we don't leave for our honeymoon on Saturday, we'll have a huge Halloween party that night for the young adults (we're doing a noon-ish wedding so families can take their kids trick-or-treating)." --T. "Getting married on 10/31/2009!! Woohoo! My three signature drinks are Pumpkin Martinis, Bloody Marys, and Black Cats. We're also having a fall feast instead of your traditional wedding dinner (beef, chicken, and fish). I'm serving pumpkin soup inside hollowed out pumpkins. And I'm carving over 50 jack-o'-lanterns for my reception decor." --K_GRZECH

"Our wedding is this Halloween, and we're having:
- baby pumpkins for the place cards
- Day of the Dead toasting flutes
- Day of the Dead cake topper
- entirely black and white decor: table linens, flowers, and so on
- a life-size talking skeleton bride & groom (for the cocktail hour area)"

"I've been to a Halloween wedding that had a dessert bar with caramel apples, frost-your-own sugar cookies (Halloween shapes and colors, of course), and mini pumpkin tarts. Their favors included a candy bar with typical trick-or-treat candy (mini candy bars, prepackaged candy) that you could put into cellophane goody bags. It also included a Halloween-themed picture frame and a dress-up trunk (seriously, this was an adult wedding except for the children in the wedding) where the photographer took pictures of us dressed up. Their flower girl wore a huge puffy dress and flowers in her hair and carried a wand made of branches and roses. It was super-cute and actually very classy." --HollyBerry28

"Our favors included wax fangs and lips. We had a candy bar filled with Halloween candy, like chocolate and peanut butter eyeballs, orange-and-black swirly suckers, jack-o'-lantern hard candies, and Halloween jelly candies....We also had masks and Halloween bubbles for everyone. We used pumpkin baskets and cauldrons for the candy table. We had fogging skulls at each bar. Our colors were orange, black, and purple. The tables alternated with orange and black chair sashes and table runners. Our centerpieces were orange roses....The bridesmaids wore 'witchy'-inspired dresses and carried brooms instead of bouquets. The ring bearer wore a vampire cape, and his mother styled his hair with a widow's peak. He carried a pumpkin pillow with our rings. I wore a rhinestone spider brooch in my hair that I found at the flea market."

Getting married Halloween 2010! We work in the film industry, so our theme is all Tim Burton/Danny Elfman movies. Our favors our pumpkin candle holders I personally sculpted with our monogram and date, That will be a hard white or orange resin. We're going to have a candy bar made to look like the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. My Dress is inspired by the Corpse Bride Dress, and its perfect. My FI will be wearing the Purple Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Suit. Our center pieces are hand made trees that resemble the trees in Beetle Juice inside a black calderon dripping with moss with spots for the place card holders which again our hand made grave stone markers. We do special effect so creating our own props was easy... Im so excited :)

Our wedding will be on Halloween too! My matron of honor is wearing a persimmon dress and my bridesmaid is wearing a black dress. The guys are wearing persimmon vests and after the ceremony we're all dressing up! My matron of honor will wear a purple dress and be the Joker from the Dark Knight. We will have a costume contest at the reception and most of the music will be Halloween themed. I'm going to put white streaks in my hair and be the Bride of Frankenstein and my fiance is dressing up as Frankenstein. Our cake topper is a heart with Jack and Sally on it from the Nightmare Before Christmas. Mass candy will be passed out too! I can not wait! Only 8 more days!

We are having a Halloween wedding 09. the church will be decorated with Pumpkins and orange and black decorations. Each pew will have orange and black bows with leaves attached. The wedding guests will receive orange and black balloons to let off at the church. Bridesmaids are wearing all black with orange bouqets. :) We will have a candy bar at the reception. For the bridal party intro, each couple will walk in to a different halloween song (flower girl and ring bearer will walk to Monster Mash, ushers walk to Ghostbuster theme etc).

I am also having my wedding on Halloween 09. We wanted to keep the ceremony traditional to please the mothers happy, so our colors are black, white and red.Trust me, it is difficult to have a Halloween wedding without using the color orange at all! My dress is white with black on the front and all the way down my back and train. After the traditional dances and such at the reception, we are changing into costumes, and are guests are free to (and encouraged!) do the same. We have a very spooky 4 layered cake, featuring ghosts, bats, witches and leafless trees. The wedding topper is actually going to be two edible spiders holding hands, one with a top hat, one with a veil. I plan on covering the cake table with black tulle and possibly painted pumpkins. We found foam ghosts that we are going to put the table numbers on. Our favors are going to be pumpkin shaped cookies. I am making Halloween earrings for my bridesmaids as part of their gifts as well. I also found an adorable children's Halloween book to put out for the youngsters that come, as well as other frightful activities. We arent doing a candy bar, but we will have a chocolate table with homemade goodies.

We are having our wedding on halloween 09. Our ushers are zombies. Our friend is marrying us in a teletubby costume. Guests can come dressed in costumes to both ceremony and reception. My bridesmaids will be in black dresses with purple and orange flowers. The groomsmen will be in all black tuxs with purple ties. After the ceremony the wedding party will change into costumes. I have a black birdcage veil and black lace shrug. The centerpeices are painted pumpkins with purple candy corn around them. Our cake is orange with spider webs and spiders on it. We are having a costume contest and passing out buckets of candy to the kids at the wedding! I can't wait!
