What do you think of the bride's father being a groomsman in the wedding?
If the bride's father is close to the groom, it's absolutely appropriate for him to serve as a groomsman. The attendants should be the people closest to the couple, and if the groom and his future father-in-law already have a special relationship, this is a wonderful way to show that. Do keep in mind however, that as one of the hosts of the wedding, the father of the bride may not be able to completely devote himself to his role as a groomsman -- so this may be a more of a ceremonial role for him than the other men.
