There's a good chance that if you're having a bridal shower, you have some pretty fantastic friends. See to it that their plans are remembered with these five easy bridal shower photo and video ideas.
1. Create a "Now and Then" Photo Album
Ask each guest to bring their favorite photo of themselves with you to share with everyone. Then at the party, pose with each guest for a new photo. Put the photos side-by-side in a scrapbook album for all your friends and family to sign as a keepsake.
2. Make a Bridal Shower Photo Booth
Photo booths aren't just for wedding receptions! Create a DIY photo booth with a cute backdrop (like a curtain of vintage fabric or a chalkboard) and a camera with a timer and encourage guests to have fun with it. Later you can include a copy of their photo booth shot in their thank-you note.
4. Create a Video Guest Book
Skip the standard guest book and set up a "filming area" where guests can record a brief message to you. Post instructions or enlist a friend to operate the camera and encourage them to share a memory on camera. Have clips from the video edited into your professional video or splice it together and show it at the rehearsal dinner or bachelorette party.
4. Give Customized Totes
Remind each girl how special she is to you by making customized tote bags. Get the bags screen-printed with their nicknames or with a fun photo of you two, and include a sweet thank-you note inside with one of your favorite memories of them.
5. Get a Group Photo
Capturing photos of the bridal shower is a no-brainer, but beyond all the snapshots, arrange to take one big group photo of you with all of your bridal shower guests. Ask a friend to set up a camera on a tripod or enlist a nonguest to stop by just before the end of the party to snap a shot.
