Blue Satin Shoes

Bold satin shoes will look stunning peeking out from under your wedding dress, but the best thing about these peep-toe stilettos is that they really let your pedicure shine. Go modern with a bright red polish like OPI's "Big Apple Red"or keep it classic with an oh-so-pretty hue like Essie's "Ballet Slippers."

My fiancee refused to let me use purple-- since he's color-blind and would only see gray. We decided on using blue as our wedding color, and I couldn't be happier now, because I do the something old, new, borrowed, and blue as my wedding theme. He's also designing my wedding ring with either blue diamonds or sapphires, so I'll have a ring that will constantly remind me of one of the best days of my life.

I'm doing navy shoes and clutch and sapphire and diamond rhinestone jewelry. My mom isn't too happy, but I love the look and I love the fact that I'll be able to reuse the items. Nina has some nice navy shoe options if anyone is still looking. The jewelry was difficult but with help from my bms (who are wearing navy), I found some great antique costume jewelry that I think will work.

I'm wearing navy blue dyed little canvas tennis shoes!! My girls are wearing navy blue and I figure I wanted to be comfy and have a little fun with the formal wedding my family is pressuring me to have to that what I'm doing! GO FOR IT GIRLS!!

Thanks for posting this!! I've said from the start that I wanted colored shoes - anything but white - and now that i've bought a pair, everyone around me is telling me I'm crazy!!! The woman who did the alterations on my dress lectured me for 10 minutes about how "brides wear white, or silver, or champagne... not blue!" JCrew also has a great pair of patteren Molly pumps that are adorable. Might be too high for me to wear that day, but I absolutely love them!

I dyed my shoes the day I bought my dress... my future mother-in-law through a fit and called my mom to tell her how ridiculous I was being. My mom is fine with it because it was what I wanted. My shoes are now cobalt blue and I can wear them with tons of outfits.
